Transparent walls

Hello all smile

Here is a useful trick if you want to apply your company logo to the window(s) of your office or restaurant.

First you need to import two images as textures:
1 - a partially transparent image (GIF or PNG)
2 - a completely transparent image (GIF or PNG)

Attach texture 1 to one side, texture 2 to the other side of your wall. In the preview this will show up as a black wall, because the standard render engine can't handle transparency. But if you make a photo in one the two highest settings, your wall will show transparent. If the logo is displayed mirrored, you can use Reverse walls direction to correct it.

The transparency is maintained correctly, meaning that you can use the CopyAsNewFurniture plug-in or Export to OBJ format and import your model as furniture.
