when i go to the website http://www.sweethome3d.com to try to use the program from my firefox browser i get the following error
Can't start applet: Exceptionjava lang.Unsatisfiedlinkerror j3dcore-ogl (Not found in java library.path)
why am i getting this error if java is installed? i need java 5 or 6 and i have 6 installed. do i need to create a symbolic link? can some one please help and give me step by step on how to get it working and/or can you help me on how to download and install/compile it? the reason i rather use it for the browser is because i believe if i download it the linux distro im using is a ppc build and not x86.im pretty sure it wont work.if it will can some give me step by step on on to install it. i saw the how to and its to confusing.im using "yellow dog linux" which i believe is "redhat" but i rather use it for the online if you can just help me get java config right

What is your operating system? Note that Sweet Home 3D can run only on systems where Java 3D DLLs were ported to. As far as I know, this includes Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and Solaris. Maybe HP-UX also but I'm not sure.

Re: java error (please help)
Sweet Home 3D distributions for Linux may work under for x86 32 bits or 64 bits architecture, not under PPC architecture. An old Java 3D 1.2 version for PPC architecture developed by blackdown still exists here. But I don't if it can work or not since Sweet Home 3D is supposed to support Java 3D 1.3+. To test it, you should download one of the Sweet Home 3D installers for Linux, install Java 3D for PPC in your JVM, and replace the java command in the SweetHome3D command by one that doesn't reference the Java 3D libraries provided with the installer:
