Magnetism not working for door model
Hi. Hoping someone can help with a minor problem I have. I've created a custom front door model in Blender and nominally everything works fine, the door renders correctly and hinges all work, however even though I have 'door or window' set when importing, and the model will create the correct cut out in the wall, I can only position it if magnetism is turned off ? Otherwise it will not penetrate the wall. I assume this is an additional setting in the PluginFurnitureCatalog.properties file? I'd rather not go messing with that without knowing what variables need to be added/changed first. On this note, is there a definitive list somewhere on the variables available to furniture objects in this file, I don't seem to be able to find one ?

A 3D model imported as a door or window will always create the hole in the wall where you'll place it, whether magnetism is on or off. Magnetism forces such an object to be aligned with the wall where you place it and change its depth to make it equal to the thickness of the wall. See this thread if you want to represent door angle in the plan or take into account handles for example (prefer use the version 2.0 of the Furniture Library Editor to set door properties).

Thanks for your reply the thread outlining the door properties especially the diagram were very useful! As with most things the solution turned out to be very mundane I had width and depth swapped when I imported the model into the furniture library editor !
A quick follow up question are there additional parameters for a double sash ?

Just cite two values in sash properties (doorOrWindowSashXAxis, doorOrWindowSashYAxis, doorOrWindowSashWidth, doorOrWindowSashStartAngle, doorOrWindowSashEndAngle) and separate the values with a space. There are examples in the default library here.
