Sloped/Angled measurements

I apoligze for posting this question on the main 7.2 thread since I did not see this sub-forum.

Thank you so much for the 3D viewable measurements, this is something I have wished for years.

I really hope you can add the ability to add measurements with an end point elevation so we can also have sloped/angled measurements. I use these all the time and they would help so much not having to add them in post (Photshop).

Thank you again for the added 3D measurements.

Re: Sloped/Angled measurements

@INABCinema
You can do it using the 3D dimension lines plugin:

Re: Sloped/Angled measurements

Thanks! Can the lines float in the middle of the room like that ones by the app or are they only attached to floor, walls, ceiling? I need them to float.

Re: Sloped/Angled measurements

I tested it and it does not work for my need (the lines can't be seen properly at steep angles). I tested the apps measurement lines in 3D and they would work great if there was an option to add an elevation to both ends. It wouldn't need anything more than the height difference. Trying to do angles with percentages or degrees is very hard, using start/end heights is exactly what I do in post but I can't make that dynamic like the app can.

Yes, there is a post in the linked thread with a video tutorial that shows how.
