1 - Light cannot be imported or exported. So, choose any model you want, and add the light yourself: place a small lightbulb under your recessed light. 2 - To avoid harsh light and shadows, turn the light down, so that the light is just visible. 3 - To illuminate your room, add one or more lightbulbs in the (vertical) middle of the room. Make them 100x100x100 cms with a low light strength. These will light the room and give very soft shadows.
You have to fiddle a bit to get it right, but this is the only way to get a good result.

If you need many of those lights, you may want to consider grouping light source and lamp model. Or, you can add light sources to the SH3D properties related to the model. But to do that, you must use the Furniture Library Editor and edit the properties file in the library. See for instance thread 5206 and SVG mini guide pages 9-10. That approach requires some work, though, and for normal use, hansmex approach does the trick and is easier. ok
