3D fatal error on Toshiba Tecra notebook with Intel GMA 450 card

Hello,

I am using Windows XP Professional SP3.
Sweet Home 3D 2.4 cannot go in 3D mode and crashes.
I have found some topics about this problem. It looks upgrading the display adapter software will solve the problem. But using latest driver of the graphic adapter is impossible on Toshiba Tecra. Toshiba is supporting the 2006 version only and does not allow newer version to be loaded.

Is there another way to workaround, like changing some advanced parameters of the graphics adapter software?

Thanks in advance.

Bulent.

Did you try the DirectX solution described in the FAQ?

Great!
Normally the switch to DirectX should be automatically done, but miserably Sweet home 3D and Java3D crashed before. sad
Would you have any hs_err_pidxxxx.log file left somewhere?
This kind of text file describes how Sweet Home 3D crashed and it could help Java 3D team to fix this bug. If you find one please copy its content in a message here.
