from dae to collada?

A lot 3d models have a.dae file, which appears to be not suitable to download. Is there a way to change that to a colladafile?

Re: from dae to collada?

DAE is a collada file which you should be able to import. If the file is in a ZIP file first UnZip it, especially on MAC.
If that doesn't work you can often download the same model in a different format. An alternative is using one of the programs mentioned in the link I provided to import the DAE file and export it to one of the other formats supported by Sweet Home 3D.
