The program fails to calculate the real size available, most likely because it fails to recognize the dpi, perhaps on a high dpi display. There is a custom setting which allows to override the default scaling, see this post and experiment different values until you get the expected result: https://www.sweethome3d.com/support/forum/vie...read,5384_offset,10#28822
If it doesn't work at all, you may try to reduce the dpi to a standard value. MS WINDOWS allows to force the dpi to a specific value when a target program is executing (compatibility option), perhaps you can achieve the same on Linux (using some additional software?).
