File boot and 3D problem
Hi, when I try to boot a file it is necessary a lot of minutes to complete the boot. There is an icon like a clock over every object. At boot terminated the render 3D do not work properly, it go at step (very slow). I update at 5.6 version and also Java is updated. Since some week ago all was OK. My notebook is HP Pavilion I5 with 8 Gb ram.

Thanks for help

Marco

OK.

File size 100 MB
"zipped or not" ? what means
2 ways to save a file :
"save as" and "save and compress"
What did you do ?

Where I can see the size of objects?

Right click on the list in lower left frame and choose "display column" and "size model"...

Re: File boot and 3D problem
Hi,
I save only "save as".
What is (apart save MB) the difference if you open an use a compressed o not compressed file?
And, what about my problem ? Do you know a possible solution

Thanks

Re: File boot and 3D problem
Marbel, you should try to increase the max memory used by the program, unless you use the 32 bit version of Sweet Home 3D (see in the About dialog of Sweet Home 3D).

Re: File boot and 3D problem
Hi,
I am using: Sweet Home 3D ®
Versione 5.6 Java Web Start
Versione Java 1.8.0_151 / 32 bit / 0,6 GB max
Versione Java 3D 1.6.0.
Is a 64 bit version for windows??
If yes, how much can I increase the max memory for the program (I have 6 Gb ram). Thanks

Re: File boot and 3D problem
If your system is 64 bit, try the installer version which will install Sweet Home 3D 64 bit.
