Program gets stuck!
Hi there,

I've been enjoying Sweet Home 3D for a very long time. Previously I used AMD Athlon 64 and everything worked just fine. I bought Intel i5-4440 and now the program doesn't work:
1. If I double-click a .sh3d file I previously used, the program stucks right after showing the small splash logo.
2. If I run the program (without opening a .sh3d file), it seems to work fine, but then suddenly get stuck after a while.

Any idea at all? I'm using Windows XP 32-bit (yeah, yeah, I know, but I ilke XP, can't stand Win7).

I really need Sweet Home 3D - it's excellent and I don't want to switch to any other program. Please help!

Did you try the suggestions in the FAQ?

Re: Program gets stuck!
Thanks a lot, Puybaret. I tried everything and seems like the 2D JAR file is the only thing that works for me. Better than nothing.

Thanks!

Re: Program gets stuck!
Wait, I just found a solution:
Display Properties -> Advanced -> Troubleshooting -> Hardware acceleration: Set it to one tick below "Full" ("Disable cursor and bitmap accelerations").

Works like a charm!

I wrote the solution above so other people can use it too. I think it should be added to the FAQ.

Thanks again, Puybaret!
