Freezing in SH3D and Furniture Editor importing models

Same problem on my side with a macbook pro M5 and the free sourceforge version :

I tried to kill all background apps and sometimes it works but mostly SH3D hangs

Is there a solution to fix this bug ?

I came here because I was having the exact same problem on Mac. Seeing the reference to BetterSnapTool gave me the solution. I use BetterTouchTool, and disabling it fixed the problem!
