Recommended/best way to convert .skp for us with Sweet Home 3D? Thanks!
Re: Sketchup
Use the following search in Google: online convert skp to dae|obj
This will give several options. Test which one gives the best results.

Re: Sketchup
Thanks – I'm OK with a Google search. Was hoping people here would already know the most reliable way to do it, to avoid me testing something I can't quite verify.
Re: Sketchup
You can export an object in Sweet Home compatible format directly from Sketchup. Simply select: Export / 3D Model and choose to save in Collada file format (*.dae).
Then simply import the *.dae file into SH3D.

Thank you!

One remark: according to the sketchup site that export is only available with the paid version. (€115/year)
