Menu all crammed together
Just installed. The menu on the top left is all crammed up vertically and only shows about the top 1/3 of each menu title

You're probably using a HiDPI screen in which case you should look at the FAQ Texts in the furniture catalog are not displayed correctly or icons in the toolbar appear very small on my computer. How can I fix that?

Did that, followed the directions, updated Java, restarted computer and Sweet Home 3D but still encountering same problem

I would double check the suggestion of the FAS. And if it still doesn't work, it will be impossible to help you without at least an image...
