Re: Photo-video rendering plug-in
I have tested, and tested, and tested again, and again, and I have found nothing wrong. PVR-1.8_betaTest2, in companion with Additional Sunflow options (v1,2), works like a charm, and the combination is surely a blessing for everyone concerned with advanced rendering. Myself, I would rather that the semi-transparent part of an uncompleted rendering could be completely transparent, but it works perfectly well like it i is!
In my opinion, PVR-1.8_betaTest2 is a release candidate (if it hasn't already been released without my knowledge)
Thank you for your great work!
Cecilia

I wish if one of experts make a detailed tutorial about rendering and setting . I get good results but after many trials and not totally satisfied with results

Regarding the problem of video rendering, everything works correctly? On my side it's random for a new simple project: a single object and a linear or circular camera path.

It is possible but I did not propose it because we do not see the size of the image.

If everything is good on your side, I think that version 1.8 will soon be published. The next big innovation will be the addition of the YafaRay rendering engine when its beta phase is over.

VeroniQ has created a blog tutorial "How to create a nice photo rendering" and a video tutorial "How to create nice photo renderings". Ceciliabr has created a detailed tutorial explaining his techniques and tips for a photo-realistic rendering. For the description of the Sunflow rendering parameters, you can consult this document.

No, but that's not a biggie.
Regarding the transparency, that's not a biggie either, but it could be an option? Is it really important to see the size of the image? It's only when using Spiral that you're not able to visually imagine the size of the finished rendering.
The next big innovation will be the addition of the YafaRay rendering engine when its beta phase is over.
Looking forward to that. But please don't abandon Sunflow quite yet.

I think so because it is scaled to be visible in the photo panel regardless of its resolution.

I do not intend to abandon Sunflow but I prefer to leave the choice of the rendering engine to the end user as in this old plug-in by adding YafaRay. This will imply a change of the interface by favoring the display of advanced settings.

Re: Photo-video rendering plug-in
This plugin is perfect! I love the different rendering options and the new save function. Rendering parts of an image, saves a lot of rendering time when you want to correct something. Now I just have to learn what all the new parameters are doing, and how to use them.
