Graphic Card

Hi,

what kind of graphic card would you recommend?
I have an old piece ... NVIDIA GeForce GT 220
I guess, that´s the point, why is the rendering of 3D so slow.

Any tips, whats the minimum to get an optimal run.

Thanks

Re: Graphic Card

What quality level do you use in the photo creation tool?

Re: Graphic Card

Always the best, sometime with light. The rendering of photos is slow, but workable. Rendering of videos with better resolution is impossible.

Re: Graphic Card

Keep your money then. The graphics card isn't used at the two best quality levels.

Re: Graphic Card

Thank you very much.

"...install a 64 bits version of Java on your system, download the Jar executable version of Sweet Home 3D and execute the java -Xmx4096m -jar path\to\SweetHome3D-3.7.jar command for 4 GB... "

The first two steps are OK, the execution of the command should be done in the windows command line? (I did it, but not sure if something happend)

Yes, but you can launch it also with Run text field. Be sure to give the real path to SweetHome3D-3.7.jar (you can drag and drop the file in the command line window to reproduce its path).
