Changing Scale to 1:50 (1m = 0.5 cm)
Hello - wonder if anyone can help me? I am drawing plans for a downstairs house renovation and need to use 1:50 scale - can anyone tell me how to go about changing the scale on the graph layout.

Sue,
Your question isn't very clear, but let me try to answer it anyway.
1 - When drawing your plan, you should use real-life measurements. If your basement measures 10x10 meters, draw it as 10x10 meters. Don't scale anything. 2 - When you want to print your design, scaling may become more important, especially if you don't have dimensions in your plan. Use this command: File --> Page setup --> Scale 1/50.
A word of warning: Taking measurements from paper is not wise. Architectural plans always have dimensions that clearly indicate the real and correct measurements of walls, doors, etc. I advice you do the same. SH3D has a good dimension tool: use Plan --> Create dimensions or use the corresponding button on the toolbar. I suggest your use the in-built Help (use F1) to learn more on printing.
