export then import of windows/glass

I'm trying to modify window furniture, but seem to be losing the transparency of the glass.
My current workflow:
Save a window object as a file,
Open in Google Sketchup,
Make simple changes (stretch, rotate, etc)
Export from Sketchup
Import furniture

When I now use the same (or relatively same) furniture item, I’ve lost the window transparency.

Any suggestions?

MG,

Seems to me that this is a question for the Sketchup forum.
Only the last step of your workflow involves SH3D.
