Different wall hieghts

My design calls for the main area of the home (Kit., LR,DR,Office) have 12' walls and the remainder of the home (Hall, 2BR, Laundry and Bath) to have 8' walls. The cielings are sloped in the lower rooms. I have read several posts on here and replies, but I am still confused as to what to do. I know to create a box or a duplicate room, but am still confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

Re: Different wall hieghts

Hi Mom,

If you want to make rooms with sloping ceilings, you may want to read this tutorial (PDF).

If there remain any questions, please ask them.

Re: Different wall hieghts

Thank you so much for getting back with me. I went to the PDF and read it, still confusing, but I figure out that I could do an invisible wall per say to correct my problem with the sloping cielings. Again thank you for your time it was greatly appreciated.
