Light Problem

Hello, i just download sweet home 3D ans i can't figure out how to put light. I trie with light that are proposed by sweet home but no lighting option. Also with the light source, same problem. Does anyone can help me please...

You can only see the light when you generate a photo, not in the 3D view.
You can set the light power when you modify the light (Modify furniture): at the bottom right you will see a setting "Light power" with a default value of 50%. In most cases that is way too much, often 5-10% is more than enough.

The "Lights" folder contains lights. Drag one of the selected lights into the 2nd view and double-click on the light to open the light properties. Everything is there, intensity, color, etc. The effect of the light itself is not visible in the 3D view until it is rendered. Adjusting the lights itself is mostly a matter of experience and trial and error. The default intensity is 50, but 5-10 is enough, sometimes it is too much. The number of lights in the scene slows down the render...
