door dynamics. Reflections in mirrored glass.
I have modeled a book door in SH3D. It was necessary to show a satin-finished bronze mirror glass. It was a difficult task, I had to make a texture on the box instead of transparent glass, otherwise nothing worked. To get a sense of the dynamics of reflection, I changed the glass texture fragments on the box every time in the render so that they were slightly different. And of course the AI helped me. I noticed that the reflection turned out particularly well at the end of the video, because the camera shifted slightly between the last two renders and the AI noticed this and added spectacular highlights on the glass. With a static camera, AI did not offer this.

Have you tried glass with a mirror behind it?

Re: door dynamics. Reflections in mirrored glass.
Hi Keet. Everything is too radical in SH3D. Either a shiny lacquer finish or a polished mirror. Even glass with a colored texture (it gives a light smoky layer effect) does not have a noticeable effect on the background of the mirror. There is almost no difference. Rather, there is no difference at all - there is such glass or not, or there is glass with color. Therefore, it is better and more efficient to select a photo with the image of the desired reflection. The mysterious Pathtracing mode is too energy-intensive and I do not know how to use it in a large room, but sometimes it gives interesting results on a large colored object. Only the rendering time is monstrous..

I remember trying to make a duplicate box with a translucent texture, it turned out something similar to a frosted mirror, but still the scattering of the reflection did not work. Only softening, as if flour or dust were poured on the mirror.
