Error "Could not create the Java Virtual Machine"
I am on Windows 10 Pro 64 Bits with 16GB RAM and now the latest versions of Java and SweetHome3D.
It was working fine, but I had problems with another programme, which prompted me to: - Update Java - Change my Advanced System Property and increase memory allocation _JAVA_OPTIONS : -Xmx14000m
SInce then, I get an error when launching SH3D. What I tried: I have updtaed SW3D and Java. If I reduce to -Xmx7000m or else, I have no error but WH3D does not launch at all.

Re: Error "Could not create the Java Virtual Machine"
I fear SH3D isn't compatible with the latest Java versions, however if you use the SH3D installer version it comes with its own java bundle which should solve the problem. About memory allocation, you can overwrite the system-wide value for SH3D using a config file.

How do you run Sweet Home 3D? If you use the installer version, you don't need to install Java and increasing the maximum memory used by the program is explained here.

And I get the error by Java Virtual Machine Launcher: "Error: could not create the Jaqva Virtual Machine." "Error: a fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit. "
I tried to create a SweetHome3D.l4j.ini file in that folder with "-Xmx700m" inside, but the error strill pops up.
Should I uninsstall java and reinstallSH3D? Or use another version?
I am not a heavy used but I have some files I d like to access sometimes.

If you use Windows 10 64 bit, could you run Sweet Home 3D installer again and install the 64 bit version of the program by selecting the 64 bit architecture in the screen where you can choose installation folder?
