Select furniture file .sh3f

Did a new install of SweetHome3D 6.2 on LinuxMint 20.3 to start afresh.
My problem is that I edited the furniture file and renamed it "Objects.sh3f". It contains additional furniture, I have edited the Categories and Keywords.
Had backed-up Object.sh3f and copied into /usr/share/sweethome3d/furniture after the new install. Eteks/sweethome3d/furniture was empty at the time.
First I opened an old project but found that it did not display the new categories or extra furniture. The same when I started a new project.
I then copies Objects.sh3f into eteks/sweethome3d/furniture, still not used by the projects.
Question: Is there a way to tell SH3D which file to use? Object.sh3f in my case.

This should .eteks/sweethome3d/furniture folder in your home directory. Did you forget the leading dot or was it a typo in your message?

Re: Select furniture file .sh3f

Found that the problem is a little different! On inspection I found that it uses object.sh3f which has a size of 178.3 MB. But it does not show all the furniture nor all the categories in the application, only in the furniture-library-editor.
In the meantime I uninstalled all SH from the LM repositories and manually deleted everything with sweethome and related.
Downloaded your latest version 6.6 which I run out of the folder and Furniture-Library-Editor-1.28.jar .
Opened the file with the new editor and saved it as Furniture.sh3f. In the editor everything shows up. Run Sweethome and not everything is listed. For example I put everything like chairs, sofas etc into a category "Seating". Seating shows but it lists far fewer items than seen in the editor.
Let me tell you how much I enjoy your program and I am discovering new features every time I use it. At the moment I am drawing a house from relatives in Panzhihua, China.

My problem is different, I will open a new thread. Maybe you should delete this topic as it is not as described. My furniture.sh3f file is a mess!
