Version 5.1 Downloadable from here or here . Also available through Plugin Manager. and Roof windows library version 0.3 downloadable from here or here .
What it can do: -Generate a roof object based on a closed polygon (a SH3D room) -It can make holes for roof windows, provided they are from the specific library -It can generate roofs for buildings with holes, such as inner courtyards. -You could make some overlapping roofs.
What it cannot do: -It cannot model an object. It regenerates a new one every time you change a parameter.
How it works: -Select a previously created room or roof and execute Tools ->Generate roof... Note: If nothing specific is selected, Generate Roof... is grayed out.
It should look like this: Some explanations: 1. Roof preview. Use the mouse to: - rotate the preview - select current roof face(s): - Ctrl + mouse click -> select different faces -Shift + mouse click -> select a continuous series of faces 2. View panel. Choose the viewpoint and how you see (parallel/perspective) 3. Choose what you want to see in the preview. 4. The roof total visible area. 5. The edges control panel 6. Modify coordinates panel: -Choose Edge or Start point or End point to be modified. -The X, Y, and Z coordinates are marked with the same color as the axes. -Step: set the step value for X, Y, Z spinners. - You can modify the roof geometry, such as roof overhangs, or create overlapping roofs. 7. Add/remove edge. It is active if Edge button is selected. - With „+” will split the edge in two, generating corresponding edges. - With „-” will delete the selected edge 8. Border panel where you can choose between vertical and orthogonal border. -Keep in mind that borders surround the entire roof face. 9. The roof thickness. 10. The roof elevation. Will set also the level elevation. 11. Before saving the roof you could choose to reverse faces for use as a more customizable ceiling. 12. Undo, Redo and Reset button. - Reset will load the initial roof. 13. The author field. It could be modified.

You both have right! I'm so stupid to forget to verify the most simple situation. I think I've fixed and I've updated the links. Please download again and let me know if I've made a bigger mistake. Sorry for the inconvenient.

Please verify inside of your plugin folder to not have multiple instances of it. -Delete all GenerateRoof*.sh3p files under plugin folder -Download and reinstall v.5.1 and try again Usually Windows don't overwrite a file but change the name by adding (1), (2)... each time. If error persist please run SH3D from terminal and put the output here.

I deleted all old versions, but... no result - same error message.
I deleted SH3d and installed new version 7.6.1 (with new interface... yuk) - but... no result - same error message.
And uhm... seems v7.6.1 from MS Store breaks half of my plugins. Good job, Monkeys!
