cartoon like / cell shader like render? Would it be possible to have a renderer that renders a cartoon/cell shader style to look soemwhat like the SH3D logo, with black contour lines and cell shaded areas? Such as: http://www.sweethome3d.com/blog/images/5.2/SweetHome3DIcon512x512.png |

Re: cartoon like / cell shader like render? - Make your design in Sketchup - Export as 3D model - AND - - In Options check "Export Edges" This option inludes the black lines on the edges in the model. H PS No doubt there are other ways to achieve the same result... ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |

Re: cartoon like / cell shader like render? I don't think it answers to your question, but if you want, I can send you the "real" model I did for the illustrations of this survey (see also the different versions I did for the survey itself). |

Re: cartoon like / cell shader like render? You could post-process the SH3D image with a tool such The Gimp. Applying posterization and cartoon filters won't quite look as clean as the posted example, but it will certainly achieve the black shadowing. |
