Texteru on top of the walls
Hello guys, can I avoid this texture effect which is in 3D render when I apply texture on the wall. I would like to have top of the walls white.

Re: Texteru on top of the walls
Set a Top color in 3D view in the wall modification dialog box.
If you want to modify the top of all the walls, choose Edit > Select all then Plan > Modify walls menu items.

Re: Texteru on top of the walls
I suppose you want something like this:

There is only easy way to do this, and that is to use levels.

Think of levels as you use layers in Photoshop (or Gimp).
I always start my projects with creating three or four levels at the same elevation.
It makes everything easier, believe me.

So here is what you do:
Create three levels at same elevation, and place your walls on level one, your floors on level two
and your furniture on level three.
When your floor plan is ready, create a new level(level four), and set the elevation to match the height of
your walls. Make sure to set the floor thickness to 1.
Then hide level two and three.
Make a copy of level one, and paste it to level four.
Select all on level four and hit shift+cmd+E.
Adjust the height of the walls to 1 cm, and select white texture or colour for both sides.

That's it.

OK?

Hello.
A part of this tip and this interview mention this subject.

Re: Texteru on top of the walls
@Puybaret thank you, it works just fine.

@Ceciliabr according a top color of walls I think this is not necessary. But I think it's good idea to have more levels in same high. For example to have just walls, doors and windows in one because of 2D floor plan. Is it posibble to show it just in first level and in second level have to the rest (furniture, floors etc.?)
