Architectural Elevations Is there any way SH3D can print plans with architectural markings such as distance of a window from each end of the wall or placement of a 3-way light switch? I am building my house and would be able to communicate with my architect much better if I was able to render my drawings in more of a blueprint sty;e. Is this possible with SH3D? If not, does anyone have a suggestion of how I could do this? |

Re: Architectural Elevations Yes and no. Depends on what you want. Dimensions, text and polylines are useful and may be of some help (with the 5.0 release, see thread 5899). Lateral presentations (elevations), are more tricky (and it is on the feature request list in Source Forge 484). You will find some workarounds in the forum, if lacking in elegance and ease, they may still help you with communicating with the architect: 5498: Lateral view of indoor walls 5416: House designed with Sweet Home 3D (Andreas Schneider on FB). ok ![]() |
