Talk of WebGL has piqued my interest! I love SH3D and I've learnt a lot from it's code(r). I'm excited to know how HTML5/Javascript/WebGL might play it's part(?); will it be just as an export option / viewer OR might the intention be to migrate SH3D over completely? |

Re: Talk of WebGL has piqued my interest! It will be first a viewer able to replace the existing one programmed in Java, then maybe an editor. But this will take months of work. So be very patient! If you want to test something, you can try the "surprise" available in this page. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Talk of WebGL has piqued my interest! Thank you for the reply sir - this is great news for me! In a few months time then (I will be patient), I hope to showcase a somewhat unconventional use of SH3D that I've been working on... ![]() |

Re: Talk of WebGL has piqued my interest! As explained in this article, the 3D viewer programmed in JavaScript / WebGL was released under the form of the new Export to HTML5 plug-in and a new service on sweethome3d.com that lets you upload a .sh3d file and view it in 3D. I'm curious about the unconventional use of Sweet Home 3D you could showcase with these tools! ![]() ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
