Lost textures when reopening a file with .obj imported piece of furniture Hello, I export an object in .obj from DAZ Studio. I get: .obj, .mtl files and texture file in a MAP folder. I 'zip' them all. I import it into SH3D (and put it in the library). Everything is ok when rendered. I save, close and reopen the SH3D file: my object appears now 'white' (no more textures). If I put on scene a new instance of my object from the library, this instance has the right textures... and lose them if I save, close and reopen the file... Any idea ? Thank you. Phil |

Re: Lost textures when reopening a file with .obj imported piece of furniture I get: .obj, .mtl files and texture file in a MAP folder. Texture images are not supposed to be in a subfolder of the folder where the OBJ and MTL files are. To fix this issue, remove texture images from MAP subfolder and edit MTL file to remove the text "MAP/" or "MAP\". ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
