Problems with version 4.3 and Java 7 on Mac OS X 10.8
Hi,

is it possible to run Sweet Home 3D version 4.3 with Oracle Java 7 installed on Mac OS X 10.8.5?

Currently when I try to start the local application, I get a dialog saying I have to download Java 6 from Apple.
But Oracle JRE 7 is already installed on my system as you can see from the terminal output:

~$ java -version
java version "1.7.0_51"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_51-b13)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.51-b03, mixed mode)
~$ whereis java
/usr/bin/java

Java is the browser is disabled through the Java control panel.

Any help is appreciated :)

Re: Problems with version 4.3 and Java 7 on Mac OS X 10.8
You should use the Jar executable version of Sweet Home 3D. To ensure that the max memory setting will be enough, run it with the following command in the Terminal:
java -Xmx2048m -jar /path/to/SweetHome3D-4.3.jar
To get the path of SweetHome3D-4.3.jar file, simply drag and drop the file from the finder to the Terminal window.

Thank you very much :)

I was blind ;) when I checked the files section on sourceforge yesterday.
