When I am trying to create a photo with the new version of Sweet Home 3D, im getting the black wide frame around the image.

Re: Photo making problems - black frame around photo
Julia,

I think, that's not an image, but a screen shot. On the left side there are a little green and red square visible, which indicate that this image is "work in progress".

Now, if your image didn't complete, you need to find out WHY it didn't complete. A few questions are:
- how big is the *.sh3d file?
- how much memory (RAM) does your computer have?
- what is the size of the image your are trying to make (in pixels) ?

If you want, you can send me your file for inspection.

Thank you for a quick response.
The file size is 72,60 MB
My computer have 6 RAM.
And the size of the image im trying to make in pixel is 2000 x 1063.

Thank you,

Could you try to increase the max memory used by Sweet Home 3D?

Re: Photo making problems - black frame around photo
There is at least one problem with your design: the wood texture used for the floor of the room next to the terrace. It's an image of 3622x2362 pixels with a file size of 1.4 MB. For some reason SH3D has problems with textures larger than approx. 1000x1000 pixels. It's a known problem that has been discussed extensively in the forum. I extracted the image from your file and reduced it in size, in such a way that the largest pixel count is 1000. I then replaced the floor texture with the smaller image.

I also deleted the 8 Tupelo trees on the terrace. They take up a lot of memory, and they affect photo rendering EVEN WHEN they are not visible in the image. You can delete them temporarily in order to make an image. In case you need to make an image with the trees in it, you could delete all the other furniture in the house that would not be visible in the image you want to make.

I then made a render in your wide format at high quality, and it finished without problems.
