Hi All,

It's been a long time, hope this post finds everyone well!

Still very busy with degree course work. Just popped on to share some pictures from my gallery model.

With being so busy, I have not had chance to move to Sweet Home version 3. So all renders are with Sweet Home 2.6 + a custom version of AdvancedRendering (version 1.6.2)

Firstly, some of my photographs used for reference.

Next, Sweet Home 3D renders. smile

Excellent renderings! Beautiful detail!
How did you do the top of the windows?

Wahou! smile
Very nicely done. You must be happy to have learnt how to modify the rendering settings! wink

Hi pencilart,

Thank you for your kind words. smile

I modeled just about everything in Art of Illusion, then imported the models into Sweet Home.

Each (main gallery) arched window is made up of 22 parts, 21 parts forming the main window, then a separate custom made arch fill, for the top.

Hope that answers your question.
Thank you,

David

Hi Emmanuel,

Thank you kindly. smile
As for the render settings. Oh, it's just a few tweaks! wink

Best wishes,

David

Re: Gallery Space
If one day, you have a little spare time, I would be happy to know if you succeed to get images as nice as the ones you posted with the current version of Sweet Home 3D.

Hi Emmanuel,

First chance I have had to reply to messages.

I will certainly have a go, most likely in a 1.5 to 2 months from now, once all degree work is finished.

Are the light levels in version 3, the same as the online beta version of 3 I tested last October?
Best wishes,

David

Yes, I didn't change them. I still don't know why you wanted a higher maximum value.
