Strafe in 3D Mode Is there a way to "strafe," up, down, and sideways in the 3D rendering pane? I can only figure out how to rotate the view. Strafe is probably not the right word, but I'm thinking 3D FPS games... |

Re: Strafe in 3D Mode If you open the included manual from the Help menu and search for the "Editing 3D view" page, there is a comprehensive run down of all the methods of moving around your plan. I've snipped the most important bit here: In Virtual visit mode, you can also use the home and end keys to move up or down the visitor's point of view, as well as the alt + left arrow and alt + right arrow keys to move it sideways. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of a way to change the keyboard shortcuts easily. It may be there, I just don't recall seeing it. Oh, and this is assuming you are using the desktop app. Online... <shrug> I don't know. |

Re: Strafe in 3D Mode Hey - thanks. I'm a novice, and had never dorked with the virtual visit. It'll take some getting used to, but I think it will work. |
