Is there a way to "strafe," up, down, and sideways in the 3D rendering pane? I can only figure out how to rotate the view. Strafe is probably not the right word, but I'm thinking 3D FPS games...

If you open the included manual from the Help menu and search for the "Editing 3D view" page, there is a comprehensive run down of all the methods of moving around your plan. I've snipped the most important bit here:
In Virtual visit mode, you can also use the home and end keys to move up or down the visitor's point of view, as well as the alt + left arrow and alt + right arrow keys to move it sideways.
Unfortunately, I'm not aware of a way to change the keyboard shortcuts easily. It may be there, I just don't recall seeing it.
Oh, and this is assuming you are using the desktop app. Online... <shrug> I don't know.
