Wrong rendering elements Hello, As you can see on the image on www.zinintransitie.nl/3d-example a lot of elements don’t have equal colours, but are grainy. I tried several light positions, colours and structures, but the issue remains. Who can tell me how I can solve this? Thanks in advance. Kind regards, Rianne |

[English] Hans means rendering a photo in a higher resolution. Increase the resolution by increasing the pixel width and height when you render a photo. Check the 'Quality' slider when you render a photo, sometimes the third position gives a better result than the fourth ('Best'). ---------------------------------------- Dodecagon.nl 1300+ 3D models, manuals, and projects |

Re: Wrong rendering elements I keep having the same problems, I tried changing the resolution in the rendering, other lights, structures or colours, but all without result. Is there a solution for it? Do others have the same problem? |

[English] There could be several reasons for this. Save your project with compression (save and compress) and upload it to a file-hosting service like MediaFire. Post the download link here. Re: Wrong rendering elements Thank you, here is a link: https://we.tl/t-jobVNDcRaa0nJArm. It concerns the chairs and black lines espaccially. |

[English] I don't see any black streaks, just a reflection on the table. Almost all of your furniture has a very high gloss level. I would adjust two things: first, lower the gloss level of all your furniture or even turn it off completely (slider all the way to the left). Second, you should read this thread. (There is a much longer thread, but unfortunately all the images disappeared when the file host went offline.) GaudiGalopin3324 uses invisible hemispheres to light the room with very good results. That prevents the light spots on the walls and possibly your black stripes. On this machine I can only test using the Sunflow renderer, but I doubt the results would be any worse with YafaRay. If this doesn't work then supply more information: Sweet Home 3D version, operating system, Java version, etc. ---------------------------------------- Dodecagon.nl 1300+ 3D models, manuals, and projects |

Re: Wrong rendering elements Thenk you very much for your effort. I don't see the high gloss level you mention. E.g. the chairs were already mat. Strange that this shows different on your screen. With Yafaray the results are not better, I already tried that. And I don't have the option for advanced settings on my renderingsettings. How come? Is that why I can't find the invisible hemisphers? About the lights you are right, but they were not definite yet. |

Re: Wrong rendering elements In addition: is there a way to disable the 'lock ratios' option for the lighting. Now that option remains grey, can't be used. |
