Strange problem with 3d renderingHi, I've never had a problem with sh3d however after installing in on my new laptop there seems to be a problem with the 3d rendering (see attachment" Anyone have any thoughts on this? Re: Strange problem with 3d rendering Your issue looks like the recent bug described here coming from a regression in AMD driver. Install driver version 22.5.1 to go back to a working solution or run the program in 32 bit with DirectX if you don’t need too much memory (see FAQ). If you have the time, it would be nice to report this issue to AMD so they can fix it. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Strange problem with 3d renderingThank you very much for your prompt help. I'll have a look at that. I love this software, I build all sorts on it, a 60,000 seater stadium (Celtic Park) I'm now working on a large theater that once stood in Glasgow, The Apollo, holding over 4,000 people. ![]() |

Have you tried updating your graphics drivers? Sometimes, compatibility issues with rendering software can arise after a fresh installation. Also, check your graphics settings in the software to ensure they're optimized for your hardware. |

Re: Strange problem with 3d rendering There have been reports of rendering problems in Sweet Home 3D caused by a regression in some AMD graphics drivers. Several users have confirmed that reverting to AMD driver version 22.5.1 fixes the problem. Another workaround is to run the 32-bit version of Sweet Home 3D using DirectX, although this may limit memory available for large projects. If possible, it would also be helpful to report the issue to AMD so they can address it in a future driver update. |
