Re: 2D symbols not working 2D symbols are basically the same as any other furniture. A 2D symbol from a 2D symbol library is an invisible box with a second icon added for display in the 2D view, a "planIcon". This icon can be different from the default icon. In itself there is no reason why a 2D symbol should not display while other furniture does. The most likely reason is that they are hidden by other objects. Since they are the same as other furniture you can set an elevation.
