Installation Mac OSX 10.7.5
My Mac had Java Apple Java for 2012-006 (Java SE 6 to 1.6.0_37) installed on Nov 25th, 2012 - three days ago. When I downloaded the bundled Sweet Home software yesterday (because the unbundled one says it's incompatible with this Mac) it opens a box saying it has to install Java, apparently the version I already have. The subsequent download takes hours for a 66.6 MB file and ultimately results in a message saying it can't complete, it may be a corrupt file. I've uninstalled and reinstalled three times with the same results. Isn't there a way for this software to just use the java already here? Is there any way for me to try this software or is it incompatible with Mac OSX 10.7.5? Any help?

Re: Installation Mac OSX 10.7.5
There's no version of Sweet Home 3D bundled with Java under Mac OS X yet (the Download page says: bundled with Java if necessary). Sweet Home 3D can still work under Mac OS X 10.7 with Java 6 (as I do every day), but miserably, the recent changes Apple made in 2012-006 update seem to cause some issues to a few users (see also this thread). I recently found a way to make it work with Java 7 / Java 3D 1.6 (not with a perfect look but still it works), so I'll try to release a beta version based on these tools in the coming days.

Please try the new beta version bundled with Java 7 under Mac OS X and reported in this thread. It's not perfect but should help you.
