Ok, this in not a JRE issue or a Sweet Home

When I look at the Firefox 2.0 Error Console feature, I see that it is reporting
CSS errors from tigris.css and inst.css.

To reproduce:
1. Open the Firefox 2 Error Console window by clicking on Tools Menu and then
clicking on Error Console.
2. Click Clear in the Error Console window to clear existing messages.
3. Go to http://java-net.dev.java.net in your Firefox 2 browser window.
4. After the page loads in the Firefox 2 browser window, see the following four
errors in the Error Console window:

Warning: Error in parsing value for property 'display'. Declaration dropped.
Source File: https://java-net.dev.java.net/branding/css/tigris.css
Line: 978
Warning: Error in parsing value for property 'padding'. Declaration dropped.
Source File: https://java-net.dev.java.net/branding/css/inst.css
Line: 50
Warning: Error in parsing value for property 'margin'. Declaration dropped.
Source File: https://java-net.dev.java.net/branding/css/inst.css
Line: 51
Warning: Expected end of value for property but found 'em'. Error in parsing
value for property 'padding-left'. Declaration dropped.

Hi carlosh,

Thanks for sharing your findings with us. Currently java.net is running on 3.5.1
version of CollabNet Community Edition (CCE). This version of CCE supports the
following browsers:

* Internet Explorer 5.5 (Windows)
* Internet Explorer 6.0 (Windows)
* Internet Explorer 5.2 (Macintosh)
* Netscape 7, Mozilla 1.4
* Mozilla 1.5
* Firefox 1.0

The latest version of CCE supports:

* Internet Explorer 6.0 for Windows with Service Pack 2
* Firefox 1.5.1 for Windows and Linux
* Safari 2.0 for Macintosh

Looks like Firefox 2 was released in October this year. The future versions of
CCE should be compatible with Firefox 2.

Hope that helps!

Best wishes,
Padma

^^^ It is a JAVA issue it's nothing to do with a lot of other things that have been thought to be the issue ... it's a FIREFOX 2.0/2.1 not being supported YET issue.
