Great ! If only you could know what was upgraded in your system (driver ?, Java ?), that may help other users.

What upgraded -
In order of upgrade:
nVidia 6100 upgraded to run driver for nVidia 8800GT (I did that upgrade)
SH3D would still not run yet.
AutoUpdater then updated the Java Console.
SH3D suddenly would run.

I'm not sure if the video driver change made any difference or not as I did that to get the proper resolution on my monitor (a 19" TTX that does 1600x1200 - the nVidia 6100 driver for Linux would not do the full resolution)

The odd thing is that I can't run it from the 'installed' version - only the web site version works.
