Not sure to understand your question. When Dimension lines creation tool is activated, you can draw the dimensions suggested along walls and other objects, but you can also click anywhere to draw dimension lines. If you press <enter> key, you may also enter its coordinates and length with the keyboard. Please read help for more details.
