A Journey of three months, it's not short, even with a future tehnology.
We have some time for lot of long projects.
Crew repeats his missions.

Here are closer views :

MMU makes his inspection tour, beginning with the front of the ship.

Brake motors being validated, MMU control the controls of attitude.

Direction the upper radiators... oh the MMU has a visitor, a crew member is in the upper dome.

Same thing with the lower radiators, MMU in the shadow of MRV should light his lamp and sees a woman crew in the lower dome.

Seriously, I've updated the ISV hermes by reversing the solar panels with the antennas.
This allows better guide for bigger energy. (see conjunction scenario) smile

When you look at ISV Hermes by the bridge, right antenna is pointed on Mars and left antenna on Earth.

DAY 135

Crew sees Mars which grows in black space...
Ion propulsion will stop, hermes has to brake.

Inspection tour goes on...

MMU controls the upper canadian arm.

Direction docking vertical bay and front of habitation module.

and rear of habitation module.

Visit of technical storage (Water, O², ...)

If the ship is still moving, the general shape remains stable.

Lastest update of ISV Hermes.

The modules are covered with a protective fabric (golden or orange).
Solar panels have been expanded.

Landing on Mars smile

The crew prepares its descent to Mars.
Verification of equipment, site and weather, vessels, crew members...

On 14, 3 members stay on Hermes and 11 will go down Mars.

Recommendations NASA:
Exploration zone (EZ), a collection of régions of interest (RoIs) within about 100 km of a landing site and a habitation site.

RoIs are aeras of interest for science and capability development
and may contain resources to support human explorers...

1. Habitation aera
2. Science regions of interest
3. Resource regions of interest
4. Landing zone
5. Mine zone
6. In-situ resource utilization zone
7. Power zone
