Not easy to build a 'pretty' side entrance...It looks like a wart.
Especially when it is partially exposed to the north.

But It was a choiced to keep a little discretion for this 'longere' and keep surprise and light for inhabitants in front of south side.

What do you think will need to heat or cool that big and high house?

That should be placed somewhere that have a good weather!! :D :D

If i can say something i will change, the wood in the big room looks a bit too old (that arrowy placement)... don't you think?

Yes, between tropical and mediterranean climate. cool
. the bay window has 3 panes of thickness for the winter.
. the outer pane is athermic for summer.

More precisely, in case you don't use the paying version, the textures available in Sweet Home 3D libraries listed here.
