Ensuring item always remains visible on 2D view

This has probably been covered before, but I can't find it - sorry.

sometimes different pieces of "furniture" overlay other pieces of furniture, e.g a chair on top of a mat. However if you change things then the chair will disappear under the mat on the 2D, although it appears correctly in the 3D view.

This makes printing out a floor plan awkward.

Is there a simple way of implementing a "send to back" or "bring to front" to ensure what should be on top remains on top?

Many thanks

Roger

Re: Ensuring item always remains visible on 2D view

1 - Select the items that you want to be on top
2 - Delete them with CTRL-X
3 - Paste them with CTRL-V
4 - Now they're on top.

Thanks, but can I suggest "bring forward/send backwards" as an option for items added to a floor plan, to ensure they stay where you want them!
