Object set (own furniture)

Dear everybody,

I am using Sweet Home 3D 4.2.6 Mac App Store edition.

I have selected a bunch of objects from the default library and modified them to meet my requirements (resize, texture, color). I saved all of that as an .SH3D-file. To use those objects I select all of them and copy & paste them into a new room. Works, but sort of awkward.

My question: does anybody have any idea how I could save my set of modified objects as a separate library (or any other file from which I can select an object)?

Cheers and thanks!

Norbert

With the current version, the only solution I can see is to select each piece you want to keep, export it to OBJ format, choosing the Export selection option when prompted, then reimport its OBJ file in the furniture catalog or in the Furniture Library Editor.

Re: Object set (own furniture)

Thanks for the answer. I think I'll try that. Or stick with the copy&paste solution.

Cheers,
Norbert
