Rendering problems

Hello,
I have recently completed the first video rendered, 480 x 360 pixels. In the 2nd level of quality that has worked well. Now I wanted to try in the 3rd quality level. The first time was that okay, even if the result was not entirely convincing (fibrillation in the pictures).

In all of the other tests the rendering takes an extremely long and the last video (14 hours for 7 second spot length), I have spread out over nearly all frames rendering points and black edges, which probably means that the individual images of the video is not completely finished were rendered.

Any idea, what is the reason and how to avoid?

How I can improve the rendering-speed? In the FAQ, there is a reference to a memory expansion, but I have problems to understand the brief description, because I'm a layman.

About Help I would be happy! Thank you
