IF you mean garret in the sense loft / attic for living purposes, you may want to look at the Gallery example 6 - or other models with several levels and sloping top walls (like this).
But as hansmex says, pictures might help you get a more satisfactory answer...
Maybe you can show some pictures to explain what a garet/garret is? Or some links that point to images??

Well, I would call it "hems", which of course is totally meaningless in EnglishEntresol is a low storey between first and ground floor - so it could be that is the correct word in British English. And I think a mezzanine is pretty much the same thing. It seems garret is an unpleasant loft room.
Could we have a native speaker enlighten us, please, we seem to be using French and Italian here...
