Two-part wall (concrete/stud)

My ground floor features two exterior walls that are 8-inch concrete block at the bottom, about 3 feet high, and then 2x4 stud walls the rest of the way.

How do I represent this in SH3D?

Re: Two-part wall (concrete/stud)

If I understand you correctly, I would use multiple levels,
- The bottom level tree feet high (or with a negative elevation if there is a basement). Set walls height/thickness.
- Draw the stud walls on the next level(s).

Something like this: template_scandinavian.sh3d. This file assumes a basement, and different levels of terrain (just delete/ignore) - and walls are thicker than the ones you describe. But it think the principle is the same.

You may want to pay some attention to the accuracy of the measurements if you want - for instance - the wood panel set outside the stone/concrete foundation.

Good luck -
