Newbie question - start with Whole Apartment or each room?
Just found SH3D and need to Start correctly. Apartment dweller, moving to new place. Question: do I start by drawing the outermost walls of the entire new (1 bdrm) apartment or do I draw one room at a time and then "join" them together later? Yes, I have looked at the intro videos on YouTube and the site and read the FAQ and read the User Guide/manual. Even if the question seems stupid, could you please just get me started so I can use the program. Thanks in advance for your kindness. Jim

Re: Newbie question - start with Whole Apartment or each room?
Guess it is a question of preference, but I would start with drawing the outer wall (paying attention to wall thickness), and then do the inside rooms (again paying attention to wall thickness).
But first of all, I would do a quick sketch just to get a feel for how SH3D works. Then ditch everything and start over. It is amazing how many things that it is easier to get right on second attempt...
ok
PS. Are you aware you can import a background image?
