Manage Category in right Panel Gestioner les catégories panneau droit
Hi, I tried to change the category tree or create a category folder in the left panel of Sweet Home 3Dwithout success, neither in the FurnitureEditor. - In furnitureEditor, it´s possible select another category for a furniture but I wasn't able to create a new category(Standard:Bathroom Bedroom Bureau Doors Exterior, etc.... ) I can't create e new folder category "garden". - In furnitureEditor, the action import furniture automatically choose one furniture opening a sh3f file (without giving the option to choose) - In sweet home 3d, I can't also create a personalized folder category. How can I create a Furnitures Folder Garden in Sweet Home 3D? Thanks.
Bonjour, J'essaye sana succès de modifier l'arbre des dossiers catégories (Bureau Chambre Cuisine Divers Exterior etc...) dans le panneau gauche de Sweet Home 3D, non plus avec FurnitureEditor. - Dans FurnitureEditor: Il est possible de changer la catégorie de l'objet meuble (Furniture) sélectionné (Modify Category)mais je ne vois pas comment créer une nouvelle Catégorie. - Dans sweet home 3d, je ne peux pas créer un dossier de Catégorie "Jardin" a côté de Extérieur.
Comment créer un dossier (folder) nouveau qui apparaîtra dans Home 3d et dans Furniture Editor pous afecter à un objet mobilier une nouvelle catégorie?

That's very easy... 1 - During importation of furniture: highlight the name of a category, and type the new name. That's all. 2 - When using the Furniture Library Editor, it works almost the same: highlight the name and type a new name. The new category is automatically created. If you want to change many category names in one go, first re-order the furniture list, then select all items you want to change, and select Modify.
When there are no items for a category, the category is automatically deleted. Example: when you import English models, the category will be Bathroom. Change all of them to Salle de Bain and the Category Bathroom will disappear.

Thanks Hans, Ok, In library editor I can open or save a library file, change the category of furnitures typing a new category (the most evident is sometimes invisible!). - One tip: I found the temp...sh3f file in the folder eTeks\Sweet Home 3D\work , it seems the standard library (included in sweet home installation), it may admit changes of category ? (deleting furniture, modifying or changing category of a grup of furnitures...)
- Another tip -> Sharing organization solution: First choose the same language than Sweet home in Furniture Library Editor!: Create new library for type: and import furnitures, change all category for a new category with 0 or 1 or.. to push it up in sweet home (exemple 0 TREES), Save like TREES.SH3F in eTeks\Sweet Home 3D\furniture folder. In Sweethome Import the furniture or the library (file TREEs.sh3f). Same for another type, 1 PLANTS...
