Re: Sweet Home 3D 4.4

As I mentioned in previous comment about self illumination or glow can be done in sunflow by using the following method.

%% light sources

light {
type meshlight
name "meshlight"
emit 1 1 1
radiance 16
samples 32
points 4
-1.79750967026 -6.22097349167 5.70054674149
-2.28231739998 -7.26064729691 4.06224298477
-4.09493303299 -6.41541051865 4.06224298477
-3.61012482643 -5.37573671341 5.70054721832
triangles 2
0 1 2
0 2 3
}

This script can produce a rectangular shape mesh become self illuminating or emitting light in the scene. I think as a java programmer, you can easily work more on about it. And I will try to find more resource. thinking d oh silly biggrin
(I don't know the code but still working on it.)

Re: Sweet Home 3D 4.4

I figured out what my problem was:
it was being installed to "program files", whereas the previous version had been installed to the "(x86) program files" folder and it was not making the desktop start icon as it should have. Dunno why this was happening, but now I have it set right.
Works great!
